EWF Members Honored at 2nd Annual WE Inspire Conference
Member Regina Pritchett named winner of award for small business growth
Eight EWF International members were named finalists – and one a winner – of the Amy Mitchell INSPIRE Distinguished Entrepreneur Awards during the 2nd Annual OSU Women Entrepreneurs INSPIRE Conference, held Tuesday, April 5 at the Cox Convention center.
Regina Pritchett, principal, Turf Team, LLC, was named the INSPIRE Distinguished Entrepreneur Award for Small Business for creating a small business with fewer than 20 employees. Pritchett has been a member of EWF International – providing peer advisory groups, coaching and consulting for women business owners – since November, 2010. An award for Growth Business, those with more than 20 employees and more than $1 million in revenue, was also presented during the ceremony. Both awards recognize entrepreneurial achievement, contribution and the demonstration of true entrepreneurial spirit.
“We’re so proud of all of our members for truly representing the spirit of Oklahoma’s women business owners,” said Darcie Harris, president and CEO, EWF International.
In addition to Pritchett, seven additional EWF International members were named as finalists for the awards. Nominated in the Growth Business category were Louise Thurman, M.D., CEO, IPS Research; Whitney English Kolb, owner/creative Director, Whitney English, LLC; Catherine Brown; president, Initial Call; and Annette White-Klososky, partner, Executive Development Associates. Nominated in the Small Business category were members Nancy Hyde, CPA, president, Hyde & Company CPAs; Claire Thompson, president, Advanced Surgical, LLC; and Jennifer Upton, treasurer, Onyx Theaters.
